Upkaganga place is situated amidst Sunabeda River jungle beside 2 hillocks named GuruDongor & PatiDongor Water in three separate flows from the earth at a place seems alike stream in local language in Nuapada . In this place Water coming from earth like stream is called upka accordingly the place is name as Upkaganga. The deity lord Shiva & shree Jagannath worshipped by the Nuapada people.
