Spread over 10 hectares of land, the craft park was established in 2005 by Chetan Shah, Managing Director of Ashapura Group. The park was created to preserve and promote the beautiful works of Kutch. Artisans receive free meals, boarding, lodging, and a per diem during their stay at the craft park.
There are many small stalls selling beautiful crafts made by local Kutch artisans. The park has a beautiful Radha Krishna temple and a lotus pond which adds to the overall atmosphere. There are electronic rides to keep the kids entertained.
